Start simply by taking turns adding to the stack while trying to force your opponents to set the total over 10.
As you play, new Rules appear, with each combination offering a unique gameplay experience.
Also there are Actions that appear that can disrupt even the best strategy.
and Attacks, Blocks, whimsical Characters, zombies, Lives, cards that do nothing, cards that kill everyone, and a hamster lumberjack.

ADD cards add time to the counter, but if the total exceeds 10, you BURST!
SET cards set the counter to 0, 5, or 10. Use them to lower the counter for yourself or raise it to challenge an opponent.
Each player starts with 4 LIFE cards. Lives are lost (and gained!) throughout gameplay. When you lose a LIFE, flip it over.
Some LIFE cards have RULES on the back that become active when that life is lost.
Some LIFE cards have ACTIONS on the back that disrupt the game with special instructions.
ATTACK your opponents at
any time!
Use a BLOCK card to defend against an ATTACK.
Each player is dealt a CHARACTER card. Certain LIFE, BLOCK, and ATTACK cards have special actions for matching CHARACTERS.
Use CHARACTER BLOCKS to block attacks. In addition, choose if the matching character gains or lose a life.
A CHARACTER LIFE is a LIFE card with a character on the back. If you flip it, you choose if that character gains or loses a life.
A U-TURN card reverses the direction of play.
TRADE HANDS with a player of your choice. Steal a good hand, or stick your opponent with a bad hand.
A DOUBLE DOWN forces the next player to play 2 cards. The first must be an ADD or SET card or that player loses a life.
Use a JUMP card to skip the next player’s turn. A DOUBLE JUMP skips the next two players’ turns.
The next card played after a CANCEL card has no effect.
All other players must DRAW 1 or DRAW 2 cards from the draw pile.
Multiply the current count by 2x. Be sure to play this when the count is low, or you are sure to BURST!
